BMW G22 4 Series Coupe Has Been Spied!

So the grill and bumper lines of this 4 do not support the renders of the m3/4 front that everyone was going crazy over...

The tail light design is looking good so far from what's shown. Overall the body looks nice and sporty, but we'll see about the grille. Hopefully the growing pains are over with the new grilles and BMW nails it with this new 4er.

Don't like the shape. Miss the classic BMW 3-box design. This is very rakish and kinda 90s American looking...

I don't think that's the real hood line. Scott mentioned before the hood will meet the grills.

The grill does look like it protrudes and is overall big. But it's definitely not as tall as anticipated.

You can clearly see the front headlight, grill, and bumper look very similar to the 8 series

An item that is stunningly beautiful and perceived that way by many is typically NOT controversial.

Of course.. an item that is stunningly horrific and perceived that way by many typically IS controversial.

Pick one or the other because your hyperbole doesn't get me excited at all and borders on oxymoronic.

Agree, which I'm not too particularly fond of with the way the 8 looks. Outgoing F8x has such a great front end. Hard to beat it.

I agree as I own an F82 and love the front end of the car. But this cracks me up though, because I remember when BMW first showed off the previous gen of 3 series with a similar front end and people were absolutely up in arms about the way the headlights touched the grill and it was basically the ugliest thing ever to happen to the 3 series.

literally every generation and then somehow it turns into "long live the SXX". people are so dumb it really hurts

If this is what we're getting then I am very happy. Car will be absolutely gorgeous. A true successor to the beauty and elegance of the E90 while taking BMW design in a more exciting direction. Personally i am happy the tall grill of classic BMW's is making a comeback.

Fully agree with this! Wish they would quit with the fastback style and go back to a nice coupe shape again.

Aesthetically, the shape and proportions look right, now for this car to take off they need to get the design details right.

I don't agree with the people saying it's going to have a different front end look than the 3 series... after all a 4 series is a coupe version of the 3.. my prediction is the front will look exactly like the g20 3 series and the rear will be different just like in the FXX 3 and 4 series... just my 2 cents
