what it'll be is a boost to my current M3s value. there will be many who don't like the new look and start panicking looking to snap up an F80/82 or F30/32 now in good condition so they can ride it out until the LCI comes around and bmw fixes whatever feedback they get. so yahoo! ha

And by default create a limited pre-lci car that would turn out to be the actual collector item because it was the hated one.

The 2er is the perfect size, it's sad they are killing it slowly starting with the Convertible.

I think most everyone here realizes that Porsche builds a more focused sports car. The m4 is a luxury sports sedan (or coupe I suppose) that pushes the boundaries of what a large luxury coupe with usable interior space and utility can do.
The m4 can be used as a practical daily driver that can hold its own on the track. A Porsche (except suv or sedan model) is more likely to be a toy used mostly for recreational driving and at the track. It's apples and oranges. The fact that the m2, 3, and 4 often draw comparisons to focused sports cars is a nod to bmw. |

Looks like it lost a tiny bit of Camo on the Headlights since last time? Looks to me like they don't get notches, and the outline seems to hint at it not touching the Grills, so more of a 8er look than the G20?
Sure hope it turns out to be a small 8er, that thing surprised me totally IRL, looks stunning, didnt expect it from watching Youtube and Pics. Excited to see the 4er drop camo. |

...so saddened I cannot get a 6MT in this... I'd pre-order now if I could get a G22 440i 6MT
No official 6MT for the full 4-lineup has been revealed? M level 4?

You're absolutely right. It is apples and oranges now. Better to compare to Lexus, Audi and Mercedes from now on. My apologies. |

P.S. I didn't care for the 666's when they came out and I still don't care for them now. |

Hopefully not a stupid question, but is the G22 going to be revealed before or after the G82? It'll be pretty much the same front end, right?
