Did the mod with blue stiching kneepads . Something to do , it corrects the "cheap" look of this part of the consol , now it's aligned with the leather finish of teh car . It was easy to change , about 10 min ; the most challenging part is to remove the piece arounf the knob . After removing the usb plug piece, I recommend to lift with help of plastic blades on the cup holder side . Requires quite strong pressure and will pop off suddendly .
Thanks to those who provided the part numbers

Thanks for the tip! My blue leather pads are being delivered today and I'm nervous about installing them. Anything else that you can remember that may be helpful (especially for the mechanically disinclined)?

When installing the new kneepads , insert with 45° angle and push , pay attention to proper alignement of "clips" with the consol receptors before appling pressure to lock
Good luck , really worth the effort

Pics please! Also can you post the part numbers you used to order these? My dealer is saying they can't find them. How much did they cost you?

I ordered from a dealership online and they were about $200 each. They took exactly a month to arrive from Germany. The part numbers I used were for the blue stitching:

# 51-16-7-911-033 (Driver)
# 51-16-7-911-035 (Passenger)

My knee is still getting used to having something there since it does jut out a bit more than the standard ones.

Oh thanks. Same part numbers I had sourced. So was this the whole silver trim piece with the knee piece?

Correct, it's the long silver trim with the knee pad. Here's what one of the delivered parts looks like (after I opened a bit). Let me know if I can offer any other help!

Finally received the pair I ordered and installed. What a difference!! BMW should have offered these in the G20 when it first came out on the market. Now I need to figure out if these will fix my 2022 G42 M240ix.

Here it is , you do not have a "catalogue" to scroll , just enter the part numbers you are looking for in the search page. Obviously you should know them ahead !!!

https://www.bmwautoparts.net/cart/index/1029327357/1

Got delivered in 2 weeks

They will. The M performance dry carbon interior is the same for the 2022 m240i

Anyone know what the code numbers for the leather and contrast stitching for a RHD vehicle would be. Or even how I might go about finding out?

I don’t think there is any difference between LHD and RHD for the center console knee pads.

I saw someone say there was a difference on a post about an aftermarket LED/carbon insert that looks like this same part. I wonder if there are small differences in angles. Just don't know how to check to be sure.
