Wanted to share some data. This is a 2020 M340i xdrive full weight
Currently chasing the stock turbo record on 10.63 1/4 mile for the m340i so decided to collect some dragy in the street. The 1/4 mile dragy car was launch in 1st gear which affected my 60ft because of the short gear. After playing a bit with xHP and reaching out to them we were able to fit my 2nd gear launch . For some reach throttle body was closing for .5 sec bugging the launch. Car is currently running a base map OTS from Chris Kaganader Tuning aka Kagantuned and mods are listed below Pass was on e70 on the street RK front mount intake/ VRSF downpipe/ Visconti reflex with boost logic PI 1050cc Will be testing the 2nd gear launch soon at 1/4 mile . |

I also want to share my best pass with my RWD 2020 M340i
All these dragy were done at West Palm Beach International Raceway . The slope on the dragy seems to be inaccurate maybe because of the hard launch 😁 Mods are listed in one of the dragy by basically once again Kagantuned with his magic on both of my M340i . Never had any issues on my RWD m340 in the 3 years of ownership. As you can see car was very consistent too 💪 |

AWD Mods: None 91 oct Tune/Tuner (OTS or Custom tune). No tune I know in C&D's review they were able to get 3.8s /w 1ft roll-out 0-60 so I wasn't expecting anything below 4s tbh. Still need to find a place to do a proper 1/4 mile run. Can't wait to start modding this thing! |

For launching RWD cars you need to get a custom tune where the tuner can really dial in boost and timing together in 1st or 2nd gear to help you hook up. They will have to ramp it in softly so it doesn't blow the tires off. MT ET SS or Nitto NT555R2 both work well on the street.

You have to just play with it to learn your car. I have a custom traction map set up on ecutek. So I click the traction button once, and then hold RPMs at 2000 rpm and I can hook and go with no issues. The DME uses wheel speed to control boost/torque as I launch. I have just Michelin PS4s on my daily tires and I have no issues. I have a drag pack when I go to the track that uses Nitto NT555R2's as well. I only turn DSC completely off at the track. On the street, it just goes straight into a burnout in second gear when the torque hits.

1.8-1.9 60 ft on the street and 3.5 second 0-60 on Michelin's. I never bothered to try the Nitto's on the street for launching but it would probably hook much better at a higher launch rpm. At the track with the Nitto's it does 1.6-1.7. You can do a 1.5 60 ft's easily on Mickey Thompson ET R's. Those are much better of a track tire but I have to drive two hours each way to the track so I prefer the Nitto's.
