There's two ways that I know of. Easiest is if you can find a strip of plastic box wrap (about 1/4 inch wide) and slide it under the roundel and slowly lift. Alternatively, and this is what I did on my car, put a bunch of blue painters tape around the roundel and using a plastic trim tool, slowly work your way around and it will come up.

The hood roundels have two small "posts" and are held in by rubber grommets. Since my car was new, I just re-used the grommets. You can purchase replacement grommets if yours are older. The trunk roundel came with double sided tape in addition to the grommets. Here's two YT videos that explain the process.
