M-lite drive train limits

Wondering if anyone knows the xdrive M-lites drive train max torque limits. I’ve seen lots of bigger power builds with transmission upgrades but not drive train upgrades. My understanding is that if transmission tuning torque limits are removed there could be problems with the drive train, but at what power levels do you get this? Also understand that tires and track surface matter, but want more details. Thanks for those who had first hand experience with this.

The 8 speed ZF trans can handle 1000nm/737 lb-ft of torque.

I read an article, trying to find it, that stated the drivetrain is pretty safe up to 700 lb-ft.

*** YMMV and I need to find the source.

That is helpful. Thanks. With TCU transmission tunes, now many tuners at removing the torque limits too. Wondering if the xDrive transfer case can handle less than a RWD , etc.

There are a number of failure points. You would need to find a reputable tuner to give you realistic safe numbers.
