Trunk Storage Compartment?

This is my 4th 3 series (E46, E90, F30, G20) and is a 2022 330i xdrive.

What happened to the handy storage area beneath the truck floor? or am I missing something.

Do you have RF tires?

NRF tires come with a spare AND that tool storage area. At least mine did.

It's gone...BMW has gutted out the tools and storage area after each generation. My G20 has a battery where there used to be a storage area in my F80 (Maybe related to the 48V set up?). The tow hook is now under a cubby on the left side of the trunk and that's it. No more screw drivers or extra tools.

You still get it if you check the spare tire box as stated above but then that has its own problems too.

In my 2018 530e I do have underfloor storage in the trunk. Of course, being a phev the trunk height is significantly raised.

Easy problem to fix. I replaced my trunk liner with the non-space saver which I ordered from the dealership. I wanted the storage, the tools, and the spare which was a steal for $150. My trunk space is back to normal - and oh! I get to keep the goodies
