Hi, i have a big dilemma, and little feedback from customers with this option. I ordered a new M340i, and right now a have a 2 day window to decide on the seat type.
I Chose initially M sport seats with vernasca leather, but i don't know how comfortable they are. I use the car daily for 100-200 km. I have sport seats in my existing F31 right now, but i still have time 2 days to tell the BMW dealer to choose the sport seats in favor of M seats.
Do you have any opinions to help me decide?

Yes....M sport seats. It's an option recently on m340i and m440i in Europe. With m sport seats you have available only Vernasca black and cognac. With standard sport seats you have all the leather option.

My issue is with the comfort in long trips from the M seats

How are your seat's? Comfortable on the long trips? Is the side suport good in tight corners?

I have driven about 50km's at most the M seats are supportive, especially the side bolsters which are adjustable..

They feel very supportive and fairly comfortable . Bolstering keeps you in snug

Order sport seats, if only for those of us who can't

thank you for the support. I ordered last week the car and I have a confirmation for 02.2021. I went for the Sport Seats with Merino leather. Still drooling when i see M seats on other EU cars.

M sport seats are comfy as normal sport seats. Even the backrest is better shape and holds back better IMO. The main issue is that rear passingers have limited front visibility and huge plastic shell on the rear side of the seat.

I was able to try them last week in a 430i M sport. They had the M seats as a option. But for the 2 minutes i sit in them i wasn't able to tell if they are comfy or not. I also tried sitting in the back, and yes...the view is blocked by the seats.

Overall the M seats look amazing, but the lack of individual leather option on them was a deal breaker for me in this case.

Correct. Only black with blue stitching and cognac. I will go for standard sport seats because huge plastic shell will be magnet for scratches.

You will love the Merino leather. I, for one, don't like the Vernasca/Dakota leathers so I would have gone with your choice.

I got the m sport seats in vernasca leather. I wasn’t sure how comfy they would be but I am very happy with seats. I have an issue with the door armrest though. It’s hard and causes your elbow to get numb on long trips.

You'll get used to it. They look awesome.
