Lucid Air

The U.S. made Lucid Air will reveal in only two weeks with over 500 miles on a charge, but it will hit the 2021 market initially as a 6-figure bespoke vehicle with limited North American showrooms. The Air is more of a luxury cruiser than a performance model. Much cooler than Tesla or Polestar though.

I'll wait a couple more years to watch new battery technology before I go EV.

start-up Lucid launched their new Air tonight. The EV market is getting. Pretty interesting and Lucid is combining luxury, speed and range. Pretty cool if it comes together in 2021 as planned. Tesla, Porsche, Audi, and BMW will have some work to do.

While they have absolutely insane range they're a bit to large barge for my tastes

Yeah, but good competition raises the bar for the other manufacturers.

I will reserve judgement of the Lucid until we see a production model and have a chance to see actual ranges and comparisons.

Like the Taycan, this one appears to be priced higher than I would want to spend on new technology.

The Lucid air is a serious contender

Lucid is completely raising the bar to an entirely higher level
