KC design strut bar for g20

KC design has a full set of strut bar kit including front and rear for the g20/g21 platform, fits 320/330/m340, it provides better rigidity and handling!

Check out more their products on https://www.tw-kcdesign.com/products_6_321_322.htm?pg=

***Use 5G20 discount code to get 5% discount***

I just ordered the top bar instead of the full kit with the brace at the moment, want to do it once at the time to see how much do it improves and sharing with you guys. Handling wise, it does feel much better on a tight turn and slightly reducing the bodyroll.
Installing dinan lowering spring on Monday, should be a huge improvement at that point.

Follow me on instagram for more updates on the car!!!
Instagram: @norcal_m340

***Somehow all the pics end up in a different angle and can't rotate, sorry for that***

The package skill form KC design is 10 out of 10! Protected the package so well!!

They packed so well, takes 5mins to unpack it lol

The package came with instruction and all the hardware you need for the installation

Installation is pretty straight forward, take off the cover on the side and unbolt the E14, and put the strut bar in and tight it down

And you are done!

Nice review! And their bar looks solid.

Did you buy the $183 bar? I thought that was a three piece too (as per their pic), like their $233 one.

The description of the kits could be a little better in their website, but I believe this is caused by the language barrier.

Please keep sharing with us your impressions!

I was checking KC's website and I did not understand if I need to buy the kit that costs $183 and the one that costs $233 to have the three pieces or if the $233 is the one with 3 pieces. I have a G2 330e M Sport, model 2021.

Also, how can I see how much will be shipping costs to Brazil, zip code 25745-690?

Can you help me with that?

Thanks!

the $183 one is only the top bar which mine are, the $233 one is the brace that connecting 3 points, the full kit will be $183+$233, but currently i only install the top bar to see how much it can improve, and then get others later on, want to do a comparison on every parts to build the car that i want. I can ask the shipping price for you but just let you know, i'm not working for them, you still have to contact them if you want to purchase it tho.

I totally understand that you do not work for them, and I would never blame you or chase you around if I ever have a bad experience with them.

It would be great if you could help me, I want to buy the full kit and would like to know the shipping cost to Brazil, zip 25745-690.

Once again thank you!

Nice review! I saw your post on the G20 facebook group page. I even think I commented. I'm still on the fence with the BMS braces.

BMS brace does look fancier tbh

But KC design has brace+strut bar to make a better handling upgrade, that's why I will pick KC design over BMS

The KC brace and strut bar look really good installed. I am surprised BMS didn't do a similar setup.

I agree. I'm all for 3 piece bars. I know those are guaranteed to provide a noticeable difference.

I bought the parts (top and front), used the 5% discount code provided by cywing1119. The parts were shipped promptly via FedEx, and arrived from Taiwan to Brazil in less than a week. Very well packaged, arrived here perfectly.

The parts are very well finished and you see that these are quality products. I installed earlier this week. Installation process is relatively easy, but it took a good 2 hours. I asked to have it installed in a local shop here.

The handling upgrade is great! Really noticeable, specially when driving in winding roads.

All in all, I recommend these parts.

Next upgrade will be the KC Design strut bars for the rear.

Thanks for the feedback!

Can you please elaborate more on the driving element? And did you get the full set? Would like to order this for my vehicle as well but there's very limited driving reviews after install so anything is appreciated!

I bought these parts:

https://www.tw-kcdesign.com/products_detail_716.htm?pg=

https://www.tw-kcdesign.com/products_detail_711.htm?pg=

I have a 330e M Sport and I consider that it had a lot of body roll and the suspension grip was not as good as my previous 330i M Sport (also a G20).

After installing these two parts the handling improved a lot, with significantly less body roll and more grip, the steering well seems more precise. I believe that after upgrading the rear it will improve some more.

I hope that this will help you decide.

Can i buy the lower braces from BMS and strut bar from KC or will that look really obvious and tacky?
Also, does either bms or kc lower braces work with MST intake?

don't know about that since i don't have the BMS braces, and i don't think either BMS or kc will work with mst intake since the mst intake box is huge

asked kc about it, they said they can provide a spacer for the lower braces that can work with MST intake, but you will need to ask them for it
