Winter Tire/Wheels for ZTK M340

Hey all, I'm trying to figure out what to do for winter tires for an M340 on order.

It's xDrive and the dealer is saying that it's coming with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in the winter here. It should have 225/40R19 on a square setup (?).

I'd like 18's for the winter, but the only 18 that anyone says will fit are the 796Ms.

I could use the stock wheels and just buy some winter tires, but I'd rather have a wheel set. These MSW Type 73 wheels are nice but the tire sizes are non-standard so you can't really get the best winter tires and they're 19"s so thinner sidewalls aren't really ideal with nasty winter roads.

What are you all doing or what do you recommend?

I too have the ZTK and recently bought a winter set. I was considering the OEM 796M 18 Black wheel & tire setup that does in fact fit the larger brakes. I ended up going with a set from Tire Rack.
They came mounted and balanced with the TPMS on Yokohama Winter V905 225-45/255-40
This set has near identical specs to the OEM winter offering. I usually go square in winter with 225 but decided to maintain that performance vibe.
I will be switching next week.

The math is the same so they should. I can verify next week. I'm in Milwaukee myself. I see youre in WI, you should be okay on summers for a couple of weeks to give you time to decide/research. If youre in doubt now and need to pull the trigger on a set just go OEM 796M set. If you can wait you maybe can save 4-500 even with a 19inch set

Also in Milwaukee. It's on order so it should get here Dec/Jan so I'll need them, likely, when it arrives. Let me know if those wheels work! I have a set of WS90's that I could use on the 18's if those do fit.

I'll let you know and you can take advantage of any Black Friday Steals.
Shame they switched bolt pattern as I had a nice set for my F30 340i that fit the ZTK brakes.

Looks good! Let me know once you've got them on! I might order these if it works out. They look clean.

Nope, these did not fit over the ZTK brakes. Had to order 19s for winter
Got these instead

Thanks, I think I'll buy the BMW 18" M wheels, they are more expensive but I know they will fit.

It looks nice! I have no experience with Yokohama winter tires, most of my friends usually have Bridgestone Blizzak or Michelin Xi3 on their vehicle. You can check 4wheelonline for a wide variety of snow tires and wheels that are suitable for your ride.
