Yesterday I received an update 07/2020.54 and I currently have 07/2020.25 has anyone received that, I couldn't find any meaningful changelog, so what has changed?

According to the BMW "Genius" & my Service Advisor after car getting update 07/2020.45 at the dealer, my car should get OTA updates.

I have yet to see any "minor" updates (the number after decimal) nor have I seen anything on the "major" update of 11/2020.xx -- but I guess it's still early??

- Daylight rear as option( cool I set that to ON )
- Apple CarPlay if you use Apple maps navigation is displayed in cluster/HUD
- little changes on cluster UI
- some improvements

I still haven't found any difference compared to the version that had 07/2020.25

got the OTA update. Going from 07/2020.28 to 07/2020.54 (372 MB in size).

Not expecting to see anything different tbh.

I do not have rear daylight as an option on 7/2020.54. The added features are mostly useless. I think BMW rolls out updates 3x a year to wipe out tunes and coding more than anything else. I will not allow another update.

What car do you have?
On my G21 330e I already had the option of rear daytime running LED in version 07/2020.25

I have a Jan 2020 build and I don't have this option either.

When update done , it's on by default but in the menu you can select to get them off

And you get the "position" light icon illuminated in the main cluster

Dealer just updated my car, and while it's awesome to see navigation directions from CarPlay in the instrument cluster, the pops and burbles are definitely muffled now

At the moment, I have 11/2019.70 in my G20 (delivery date may 2019).

My car downloaded the update (07/2020.54) but the installation doesn't start

Since November 1st, I have this message on the Remote Software Upgrade screen (translated to english by me) :
"preparations for update to version 07/2020.54 completed
You will be informed as soon as the update can be installed
..."

I don't understand why the installation doesn't start. According to the manual, there are some requirements (battery, cold engine, etc.) but in my opinion, I'm ok with that.
I didn't use the car for 3 or 4 weeks (only short trips). So the battery level was my first idea, but long trips to recharge it didn't change anything for the update.

Do you have an idea?
