TPMS sensors and non run flat tires

Has anyone replaced their runflats with non runflats and reused OEM TPMS sensors ? Did they have to re-programmed and did you have to take to dealer to do it or was it a DIY ?

Yup, stock runflats wore out in 7k miles. Got new wheels and tires changed them out with non runflat. Just reset the tpms sensors and you should be good to go no special recoding needed.

You don't need to even reset. The car will reset the values on its own after a few miles.

There is no difference in TPMS sensors between RF and Non RF tires.

Did the tires wear out in 7k miles or did YOU wear them out? 😋

My RFTs wore out in 12k miles. (Mainly the rear) luckily have the wheel and tire package 🙃
Definitely switching to Michelin PSS non RFT soon
