iDrive 07/2020.54 bug

I’ve just updated to 07/2020.54 and noticed an annoying bug when switching presets using Sirius XM. The channel doesn’t always switch on the display. As you can see in the video below I’m switching between presets but the display stays on the same channel half of the time.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Yes, I'm experiencing this same issue intermittently. The best fix I've come up with for now is to select the home button on the iDrive controller and then reselect the media button. Then it will correctly display the channel. Annoying, but it seems to be the only solution until the next software update.

It’s nice to know that it’s not only me that is experiencing this issue and thanks for the temporary fix. Very annoying but hopefully next update will fix it.

Have you tried clearing and resetting your presets? I had a similar issue when I was on 07.2019 software after SiriusXM apparently made some changes to their channels. I cleared the troublesome stations and re-added them and it fixed it. May or may not be the same issue you are seeing though.

Glad I could help. Hopefully this will get resolved in the 11/2020 update which I presume is rolling out now. Just have to convince my dealer to install for me! Lol
