LCI M340i Tanzanite Blue with Tacora Red?
As my lease is ending up with my 21 330i (phytonic blue with cognac leather). I’m thinking of getting Tanzanite for my new car but the only interior option that grabs me is the tacora red. I’m not exactly sure how good it will look. What do you guys think and do any of you have a combo like that?

Blue/Red reminds me too much of Superman whenever I see it - I prefer White/Black/Grey with red interiors.
I should be taking delivery of an M340i any day now in Tanzanite/Mocha and can share some pictures with you if you'd like. At the end of the day it's your car and you should do what you like most! |

It might be a superman spec but I love the blue exterior with a red interior (and red calipers). I think it would be better with Portimao blue though.

I personally think portimao is too in your face and I like how tanzanite is basically black at night. But yeah that’s what i was worried about “superman spec” atleast it’s not mcdonalds spec 💀💀

I think blue/red would look cool and unique.

i look at color combinations as bucket lists. just try out the ones that you like. no right or wrong. if you dont get it this time, get it next time.

I would not do Portimao Blue with Tacora Red (the superman look) but Tanzanite is much darker that Portimao; even looks black at times.
My opinion is that Tanzanite with Tacora would be perfect.

Do it. In years past the BMW reds were really bright, vibrant, and punchy. But Tacora is modest and vibes differently, it's more burgundy, even feels hints of brown at times. It's not the dreaded Superman alongside blue anymore. |

I have that exact spec and its gorgeous, Tanzanite blue and Tacora red are both on the darker side of the spectrum so it doesn't really give superman vibes imo.
I typically don't care for blue cars but when i saw this spec I had to have it. |
