'New' Service PCM packages - feedback welcome!

Folks,

When I bought my F31 some years back it came with 5 years Service Inclusive. I understand this doesn't exist any more...and as the M340 Touring turns up next week I was curious as to feedback of other owners as to the cost/efficacy of the new monthly payment solution?

Any/all feedback welcome!

Thanks

If it's the 3 years/36k model it's a bit of a gamble. I got two services out of mine (18.5k and 35.7k) but they made it clear that It was a close call on the second service- if it had been a Mike over 36k I would have had to pay.

£400 for 1 service would have been frustrating but £400 for 2 is good value.

The real challenge is "variable servicing" mine says service in 20k when fresh out of the workshop but reduces to about 17/18k over the duration, this may be my driving style and (literally) your mileage may vary.

My recommendation would be to wait until you are about 6 months in and then based on your service predictions decide then whether you'll get 1 or 2... (BMW give 12 months for you to decide I think - but worth checking)

Thanks for the speedy response, will look into the details. I did just plug an existing M340i number plate into their tool and it seemed to offer up to 48 mths and include 2 services (oil + major). £900.

Huge difference compared to the 60 mth service inclusive package (which I assume cost BMW UK too much money to continue).

I'll probably play it by ear during the first 6 mths of ownership. Given current climate it'll probably do bugger all mileage (compared to what I was expecting to do).

Cheers!
