I agree being that late is ridiculous, but unfortunately you probably have to wait until you sit down with her to unleash your humor and sarcasm. I'm of two minds on this. I CANNOT STAND tardiness. It rubs me the wrong way in every manner possible. My tolerance without getting a message in advance is about 5 minutes. Her behavior was intolerable BUT, that doesn't mean you have to give it back to her with both barrels.

Leave a firm but still kind message letting her KNOW that she completely screwed up. It's far better for her to think "OMG, he was such an nice guy...I completely Fk'd that up." rather than, "What I tool, I'm glad he left."

This way you keep the high ground AND you may be doing a fellow bro a favor when she dates in the future.

I agree with MK on the being late. I am always on time. If I were left waiting for 20 minutes without a heads up "sorry I'm running late", I'd be pissed. As far as the "Are you Tom" and the "I might be" answer - I believe she didn't think you were Tom, hence the I'm inside text.

I'm always the first one there anyway, but yes occasionally it seems that way. If they are late I usually get a "sorry running late" text and ALWAYS get a hug hello.

Well said. Tardiness is super annoying, especially because you're already anxious af before meeting your date for the first time. But I'd probably give it a chance still since I'm already there, but wouldn't expect anything of it.

As far as giving them a reason about why you weren't interested depends on a few things. If you talked for like a few days and don't really know shit about each other, then no need to give a reason IMO. But if y'all been talking and you decide that it's not going to work out, I'll be respectful and just tell them why. It'll do the next person some good I guess
