I like them black too, but maybe you should have left some of it polished either the inner or the outer structure. I blacked out my 790m and they look much better now imo.

I don't think they look bad at all! Does the gloss black make the car look significantly better? Probably not as much as it normally would since gloss black is a fairly safe color, but I don't think it makes it look worse.

I think the smaller 18" size in gloss black lacks contrast and blends in with the tire, but could potentially look better with some springs or coilovers.

Maybe you can use this as an opportunity to get a set of summers and save this for the harsh winters you likely have!

They look good in black you should keep them. It complements the car well.

They look great as is. You can also spice it up by removing the aero covers and powder coating them a different color. Black and machines aluminum for instance.
