Agreed looks very generic in that picture, but those grilles are a looming presence as ever.

Why do you care about the bolt pattern? With 5x112 you have even more wheels to choose.

Oh yeah and it is starting to grow on me
The size of this car should be for an M5 not an M3. The M3 has grown too big.

Wheels look busy.
I think you mean terrible.

Hopefully those aren't production wheels.

Although I think they are unique in their own right, I don't think they they belong on an M car. They look purely based on form over function, would prefer to see something along the lines of the wheels of an m4 cs

I have a feeling the front will look better in person..hopefully. Either way, the car is gonna be mental. If the M340i is already as crazy as it is, then the M3/M4 have to be on another planet!

Interesting. IMO apart from the gigantic grilles, this is one of the most conservative looking M3s from the front end. Just based on the leaks/renders/spyshots we've seen so far.

Most conservative? Whaaaaat? Up until the F8X, previous ///M's were soft from the front.

They should do an m2 sedan. I agree ☝️
can't we please go back to the "old" days with evens being 2 doors and odds being 4? why on earth do we need an M2 sedan when that should be an M3?

please god do not mess with the M2.

this is why I love the forums. I learn something new everyday. never heard the 5x112 term before, but now I know a bit more about cars than I did before!

also any reason why 5x112 is used for clar or is it just BMW moving to this pattern with clar cars and on
