Oups, I missed the swap. I also have a preference for coupes, of the 10 cars I’ve owned in my lifetime, only one was a 4-door.

And totally guessing, but looks like the US - Comp - BSM may have the 19"/20" wheel option (w/carbon ceramics?) vs. the others in 18"/19"? Regardless, can't wait for the reveal and reviews. |

Same here, the only 4 door I had in the last 25 years was my F80, and that was what prompted the switch to the M8. I didn’t want to wait for the G82, and I didn’t want another F82.

I was really close to buying a HS M2 not long ago but gave up on that for the more dramatic Camaro SS1LE. I am excited to see how HS looks on the M3 although I'm pretty sure I'll be aiming for a very dark color to help minimize the grille's presence.
I am definitely looking forward to how this thing drives/handles. Can't wait to get a set of keys and try it out.

I wish we could see more of the white car next to the black M3. You can see an uncovered roof with the two aero lines on it(I don't think a standard 3 has those lines). I wondered if it was an M440i but you can see it's 4 door maybe that's just a change for the 21 3 series. It doesn't have the bumpers covered either.

You are right I think you can see the cerium gray mirrors in another pic but my '20 M340i doesn't have those fins. Interesting!

The fins are interesting, if that is what they appear to be, considering the revelation above that M3s will have some kind of optional package with Cup 2 tires it's possible that bmw is offering more track capable packages across the line Also Notable in this image you can see 2 more M3s in line after the m340 Last edited by xlover; 08-03-2020 at 12:22 PM.. |

The front end looks to be a Z4M but the roofline looks more like a Supra with the hard top (or maybe just a reflection off the door?).

Yes, interesting catch. Maybe a 1 series hot hatch?

Wow, nice catch, especially for a US car.

Those tires will give most drivers closer to 5k miles instead of 10k+ miles on the street. It’s a worthy tire for something named competition model but it’s not an optimal street tire. Just like the M3, a very trackable car that is not optimized for street driving only Again though I’m not convinced these will be standard. Could be that this car is going for a launch event on a track and thereby has these. |

FWIW the cars pictured are production standard units for In-Group VPC (E-FZG) Process Conformity Intro. |
