BMW just needs to realize that they blew it big time with this design and do a quick redesign.The huge grilles just look like they have been stuck on the front bumper.Who was the designer that also came up with a kidney grille deign with a fence design all over it.Looks like crap on the M340i and it looks awful on this car.It isn’t that difficult to design a good looking car.

you really have to be desperate and low in self esteem to buy this car. If so just buy a JLR or porsche product and you would feel better.

Agreed. They don't take refreshing M3s lightly. In fact, I can't remember the last time they made any change to the front fascia of any M3. They only update things like tail lights or other items that are shared on the regular 3/4 series.

It would really sour early buyers if they made any significant changes. I think it's far more likely that people will get used to the grilles than BMW will refresh the front fascia.

People still haven't accepted that BMW is committed to their new direction. The changes are happening across majority of the model line. If people aren't on board, there are a ton of other manufacturers that would love their money (...and forums dedicated to those cars that would love their membership ).

I doubt bmw would make drastic changes to front in LCI but even subtle changes like changing the sharpness of the grill or size slightly could make an improvement

I think aftermarket grill maker can try to modify the look of the grill. Change the inner design and make it looks better.

I bet small plastic body colored inserts over the bumper section of the grilles, to separate the top and bottom half would, transform the look of the car. They would be horizontal plastic pieces that go over the parts of the grille that aren't actually open.
