So up and until last week, I could walk to or leave my car and it would automatically unlock or lock. Now for some reason I have to use the FOB to lock or unlock. In my profile it still shows shows it linked. Battery seems fine.

Any suggestions?

The first thing to try is the iDrvie reset (hold down the power button for about 40sec until the screen goes blank).
If that won't help I'd make sure that the car battery is sufficiently charged (I understand that the FOB battery is fine).

This happens once in a blue moon in my car. Sometimes, using the buttons on the fob fixes it for a while before it acts up again. At other times, I have to go into the iDrive settings, uncheck and then recheck the comfort access options to get it to work again. Not sure why it does but it does. It’s a minor inconvenience I live with. Resetting the iDrive didn’t help me unfortunately. I haven’t taken it in to the service centre since it didn’t bother me much.
