First look at BMW i4 M Sport Package
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Update: this is confirmed to be an i4 with M Sport Package Hey folks, there we go. This time we can see the i4 with M Sport package The front looks very similar to the gasoline 4 series with M Sport package. What do you guys think? Do we see here the M50 version or just a normal i4 with M Sport? On the pictures you can see the blue brake calipers and the M Sport seats. But on the ICE 4 series you can choose these two things as an option on a non M Performance model too. BMW showed us an i4 mule with M specific mirrors, so i hope the M50 verison will get these Last edited by Chrisss_GER; 04-19-2021 at 03:53 AM.. |

Doesn't look remotely "sporty" in the way M sport pkg usually entails.

Gotta love that bmw justifies these hideous grills with the need for increased air intake and then includes then in the design for a car that needs no air intake.

Dam! My wife wanted to lease a new bmw too, but there is no way I’d ever let one of these grills in my garage, especially parked next to my f83. Looks like she’s getting an f30 340i, Mercedes, or Tesla. Bmw is beyond disappointing

I am mostly concerned with the safety systems built around the battery tech of the i4. Read an article recently about a Tesla that burst into flames after it crashed. Supposedly, it took the fire department "several hours" to put out the fire. I can only assume this was due to the battery itself fueling the fire. How different is this battery system from that of Tesla's? Has BMW published any crash test data or other technical information regarding the specifics of its battery technology and how it impacts the safety of the vehicle during a crash? I don't plan on crashing, but if someone T-bones me in the middle of an intersection at relatively high speed, I want to know that my family isn't going to be instantly burned alive just because I chose to drive a BEV instead of an ICE vehicle.

Actually think the radar is only incorporated for the iX. There's pictures floating around with the ACC sensor cut out just like the regular 4.
