Buying out a leased vehicle low miles
I m interested in buying my custom ordered lease vehicle, it's a 430i with decent options and low "shelter in place" miles. ~10k
Have always leased and swapped before but given the lease payments today and used car prices this one makes sense to buy as I plan to keep it for 5 years. Residual is listed in contract. Do I need to work with a dealer or BMWFS would make direct sale? (Will be financing through independent bank with a downpayment) Appreciate the advise.

Assuming your lease is through BMWFS - contact them - and they will advise you how to proceed. You will basically just stroke a check to the dealer for the contract residual. You are in a great position to get the benefit of your contract. You paid for miles and didn't use them. If you like the car - take advantage of the contract and keep enjoying your car
