Help. Quick Question about tire setup
I’m a complete noob when it comes to tire sizes so after a bit of digging I think this will work. Hopefully, any of you running this setup or tire gurus can confirm. My rims are 8.0” wide and my car came with 225/40/19 run flats square setup. My car is RWD and I want to keep the square setup but ditch the crappy run-flats so I’m going with Michelin pilot sport 4s. Will 235/40/19 Square setup work just fine? Anybody experience rubbing or any issues with this setup? I think this will probably work out just fine but wanted to confirm before I go ahead and pull the trigger. Thank you.

highly recommend 245/35/19. if you cannot get those michelin pilot sport tires, don't sweat it, plenty of other really good tires out there, Continental EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 PLUS is a good alternative.

Jumping on this - I’m also going to ditch the run flats,
Has anyone tried the ‘Michelin Pilot 5’ as an alternative to mp4s, I don’t really drive fast enough to properly use the 4s’ so thinking of saving a few ££ by getting the 5’s. Currently got Bridgestone Turanza’s. Haven’t had the car long so haven’t got any complaints. Just trying to make it as comfortable as possible after coming from an E93 with Potenza’ which made me hate driving |
