Bought and installed a digital gauge over the long weekend.

Wanted to keep an eye on the cars vitals at a little more of an informed level and, hopefully, notice any potential issues before any permanent damage is done.

Fully customized the gauge as well, and tried to stay true to the "BimmersAndBoilermakers" name. Boiler up!

Upgraded to the Supra wheels. 245/40 fronts 275/35 rear. Dinan suspension and front escape 12.5 spacers. Ride is incredibly sharp and the wheels fit like the car should have came with them!

Gtf, awesome. Where did u get that netting to the right side of the boot/trunk ? that is wasted space unless you can secure it like you have done, do you also need some hooks so that the netting can be attached ? Any info would be greatly appreciated as I am looking at utilising that space....thanks

The manufacturer is CANchecked. They don’t sell the gauge directly, but they do point you to their vendors that you can buy it from, if you go to their website that I linked.

One thing I do want to point out about it is that, if you want a clean setup, you will have to take off the ID8 screen since you have to wire it to the BDC, which is in the passenger footwell. But, once done, the gauge is fantastic! Fully customizable with gauge types, colors, background, outputs etc.

Hit me up if you have any further questions and I’d be happy to help!

Purchased the Enhanced Modification subframe brace two weeks ago. Was delivered within a week and installed yesterday. The initial 10 mile drive post installation felt good. Not sure how much better the handling is yet but the car did feel a tad more direct in steering.
Next up is sway bars. (Image attached is from there website as I didn’t get a chance to snap one myself when it was on the lift. Was too busy speaking to the owner as he is the local chief instructor of GGC CCA and is always a treat picking his brain on improving track times/driving).

Thank you sir! Appreciate it!

Wish they looked more concave to be honest. But they look really good though.

Are you squared or staggered? I saw these on the getbmwparts.com website as well.

Installed oversized tires. Picked up PS4 all season staggered set. 225/45/19 and 255/40/19. It added about a half inch to the sidewalk and 1” overall to the tire height. They look nice and snug on the factory adaptive suspension. The ride is very smooth now too

Might help the looks in your eyes but..... that will ruin the handling and throw out your speedometer by miles.......! Guess it its just for cruising all will be well.

A difference of 2mph at 65. Currently I’m off 2mph slow by radar run at 30mph *shrug*

All season tires aren’t for looks or performance…had three tires bubble already from purchase and I’m only at 7557 miles. I haven’t hit potholes or anything. BMW has given me 4 tires for free. Plus I was already down to 4/32 after 5K miles.

The only deviation from OEM is half inch taller sidewalls. Michelin added more tread depth at that size too.

Edit: added photo. Haven’t cleaned up the tires yet.

Updated ID8 with “other” tires and speedometer is slow by 1mph at 65. I guess it adjusted to the new size somehow
