Thanks for the info, Looks like yours was relatively smooth sailing! I was asking because it seems like everyone I've been chatting with over the last couple months have all received their vehicle or its on the way, but mine is still stuck in quality check.

Right there with you. M340i stuck there for about 2 weeks now. Same open work order, too. I'm assuming it'll get fixed stateside = even longer delays.

Present! Ordered my m340xi on 8/9, production date 10/28 and was stuck on QC for 5 weeks. Now it's at the port waiting to get on a ship.

There are people who ordered later and already took delivery, it's incredibly frustrating.

Mine is at status 193, at Bremerhaven port, waiting for ship since Dec 10.

BSM 330i, all options except for ZPK & HK premium audio. Only item deleted was the front passenger lumbar support & width adjustment.

I have a Mexico 330i that has been in final assembly since 12/9 but it's actually completed assembly, apparently waiting for a ride to the port as well.

I have been at the port for three weeks now. That’s after three weeks of quality control.

Signed the paperwork 2nd week of August for the wifes 430i convertible;was a week 40 build. Has been in quality-check since 10/29 somewhere in Germany. Not arriving anytime soon. Similar spec'd vehicle(slightly pricier) will be arriving at dealership this week. If she likes it,we're gonna grab that one instead and abandon our order....

I gave up. Bought a M340xi off the lot instead, picking it up tomorrow.

This is what I don't understand, some of us think the defect is for the touch screen removal. The car I am buying has the touch screen delete. Cars without touchscreens are at dealers, I don't understand why the original one I ordered is delayed so much.

First,congrats on the new ride!!!

Second,I don't blame you one bit for giving up as my wife and I feel the very same at this point. The similar-spec'd 430i CV that I mentioned above was supposed to be at the VPC on Friday,but never made it and is still in transit to the port. So 100% not getting it for the holidays and she's pretty bummed.

They were expecting a black M440i CV today that was available and she's not interested. So the wait continues.

Just talked to BMW Smart Brain Genius. My 330ix, from Mexico, is at at Vehicle Processing Center (VPC) since 12/13. Work order has been placed. No idea as to how long it will be there. I’ll be gone between Christmas and New Year’s. I’m worried about dealer selling it while I’m gone. Surely not, right? They’ve run credit checks and everything. However, the car shows up on their website…

So, it looks like I spoke too soon when I said it didn't have a defect code open, at the time I checked it just wasn't there.

I now show "0065480300 Retrofitting the receiver audio module open" as open on my Mexico build 330iX.

Mine looks stuck at the Final Assembly/160 phase instead of stuck in quality check.

I found out yesterday my car is on a ship and headed to Charleston from Mexico. Scheduled for a Jan. 2nd arrival. Maybe I'll get this car sometime in January after all lol. Fingers crossed that addressing the HK audio issue won't take weeks once it arrives in port.
