I'm waiting on a 440CV as well. Mine is sitting in the factory parking lot "Awaiting Carrier Assignement". I've checked several times and have not seen any open recalls, RAM or otherwise.

When did you see the recalls, when it arrived in the US or before?

I checked for recalls on mine when it was on the ship. I think it should definitely show up before it hits the VPC.

Mine were up as soon as production was finished and the car webs to port in Germany. Actually thought they would be resolved there during the couple of weeks it sat there, but unfortunately not.

What was your build week? Mine was 46.

I'm week 50 build...seems to fit with your experience I guess being that you are 4 weeks ahead of me.

But, I'm not sure there is a lot of rhyme or reason to much of this....

Until your factory order moves to Status 112 (scheduled for production), you really can't be sure of anything. There doesn't seem to be much that is predictable with current BMW production or with shipping schedules. Some cars progress well, while others are held up for weeks or even months. For example, my car was stuck in "Quality Check" at Bremerhaven for six weeks !

The lack of communication between the factory and its dealers just adds to the frustration

Mine has been at the VPC in Baltimore for three and a half weeks. Ugh. I’m sort of anxious to get the car, but more than anything at this point, I just want to get it over with. I hate the whole signing papers and saying no to all the BS the money guys want to add part of the whole process more than anything. I’m dreading that, and I feel like the dread is being prolonged.

I’m also worried they won’t honor the deal we made back in mid December.

No change yet, all three are still open. Browsing other threads about dates and VPCs/VDCs, I have little hope that it'll close out my stop sales in anything less than 2-3 weeks after arrival date. So end of January, if I'm lucky. Yours would probably close out sooner than that.

It's been a hell of a wait - I started the process in July, and the order was finally put in last week of August. Talked to several dealers they were all "oh yeah it'll be here be end of September". Boy were they wrong...

Looks awesome - very similar to the one I have on order - PB on Oyster. I have the bicolour black/silver wheels. Is that the full shadow line pack you have? I've gone for the £200 option which does the front end, with body coloured mirrors I think.

Thank you! That does show the stop sale. I had talked to the genius line yesterday and they never mentioned the stop sale and said it would be at the PCD by 1/7. So hard to get clear answers.
