I've been driving my G80 M3 all week. Maybe it's just relative??

Not imagining it. It's been discussed at length on here. Just search and you'll find a ton of threads.

I'm seeing a lot about crackles and pops being gone. I still have those. It's the six cylinder shread that turned into a high pitched whine that's gone.

I just went for a drive. It's as if there is no more ASD. I don't hear anything from the speakers. It's most noticeable at high RPM with the throttle closed.

Well now at least I don't have to complain that my M3 is quieter than my M340i. I wonder if that has something to do with it.
