Wireless Charging Tray Disabled
Hi,
Just got my G20 330e yesterday and was surprised to find out that the wireless charging tray is disabled in my country due to some disallowed frequencies. The tray itself is physically there but does not work. Does anyone have any idea how to enable the tray (if possible at all)? Thank you. |

Wireless phone charging is inductive. There shouldn't be any measurable RF to interfere with anything. Are you sure it's not just disabled in iDrive? Are you sure your car came equipped with the charging tray?

Have a look in the setting menu. Under car —> general settings. Do you have the charging tray menu? It has a setting in to remind you when you've left your phone in it.
If that is missing then perhaps it hasn't been configured correctly. That would require a trip back to the dealer to rectify. |

Sounds more like your NFC has been disabled rather than wireless charging but i could be wrong.
Do you have the key card, does it unlock the car, can you start the car with it??? |
