Tech Pack and Carplay

So....I have a Mar 2020 G21 M340 with Tech Pack. I did not have Carplay. I recall it saying my vehicle was not signed up for this service and I believe at the time it was a £250ish option (?). But since the last software update...I have Carplay.

I'm not hugely bothered (I actually prefer the stock system) but has this happened for anyone else?

It was made free to all over a year ago now.

Hmm, how weird. Second full OS update I’ve done since getting the car and first time it’s been an option. Cheers for info
