First question: I have Amazon Prime music subscription which integrates seamlessly (if a little clunky sometimes) in the Audi MMI. As I understand it, the inbuilt BMW app is Spotify. Nevertheless, because of Apple Carplay (about which I know little) can I use that to stream music from Amazon Prime and play it in the car? If so, can I leave phone in pocket and control from iDrive?

Welcome aboard I'm taking delivery of a mineral grey g20 330e m sport with mocha interior in March. I received my replacement black grill this morning. Just need the car to put it on

I too left the BMW fold, but rejoined a few years ago with 4 series Gran coupe. It’s going soon when the 4 year lease ends and is being replaced with a g20 (330i M sport).

Yes, you can stream Amazon music via CarPlay which is wireless. CarPlay is excellent and essentially mimics popular apps from your iPhone onto the idrive screen.

As for the black grill. Your dealer will fit this for you prior to collection. Expect to pay circa £140

They'll also remove the model number from the tailgate if you wish.

Next question: on the standard M-Sport 18" wheels have they ditched the hated run-flats now? Brochure suggests yes but not conclusive.

I asked the same question. You’re right, according to the brochure, certain alloys (including the standard 18” M Sport wheels) don’t come with runflats. The configurator also suggests this.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Also I couldn’t find any info on the Advanced Audio sound system that 330i/340i/d receive.

As matter of interest, whats wrong with run-flats? (not had a car with them on before)

And if you dont like them but like the 19" alloys, do you not just swap out for normals when they next need replacing?

Welcome from me too. Intrigued and jealous that you’re getting Mocha interior, as that was my first choice for my G21, arriving Feb/March,but it was deleted for the 2021MY. Went for Cognac Vernasca which looks fine but I quite fancied the Merino.

I just placed the order yesterday and Mocha was accepted in the configurator and by the dealer so that's odd...

Yes you can swap them for normal and get a mobility kit. My gripe with run-flats is that they can be noisy, they're expensive and if you do get a dreaded nail in the tyre nobody will repair them. This happened to me on my F10 with a £200 Dunlop Sport Maxx which had less than fifty miles on it

That said, having RFT saved me on a grimy winter evening, suited and booted, travelling to an evening wedding reception in the middle of nowhere. Picked up a puncture but was able to safely get to the venue and change the wheel in the safety of the hotel carpark the following day.

Overall though, I'd prefer to take my chances with conventional rubber.

I don't think it's anything to get excited about. I can only find this: HiFi has 10 speakers/205W, base stereo has 6 speakers/100-150W.

It won't be HK and will be a million miles away from the Bang & Olufsen system in the Audi Comfort and Sound pack. Not much of an issue to me as I usually just listen to TalkSport.
