Wireless Charging Compartment
Hi All,
I’ve had my 330e Touring for just over 2 months now. On the way to work today I reached to grab my drink out of the cup holder to find the wireless charging compartment was extremely hot. I didn’t have my phone charging so not sure why it would be this warm. My heating was set to 18C. The compartment flap was so hot to touch that I got my temperature gun out. It read 42°C. Any ideas? |

Mine got so hot on a recent long trip that my iPhone shut off? I was considering taking it in but if it seems to be a general issue I won’t bother. Annoying when I paid £350 for the option.

Even on short trips it can heat up Long time charge I'd use a charging cable But I also agree bit of a useless expense if not up to the job

I do close the lid as I prefer the clean look but didn't really think how that would affect cooling. |

A bit ridiculous for a $500 add on feature. Also - the white compartment LIGHT drives me crazy. Has anyone figured out how to disable? |
