Taiwan made; got it painted locally. Total outlay $120.

Definitely not a looker like the OEM and heavier too - boot doesn't open any more with the spring action (no electric boot on my Sport).

Can live with it considering the price

Looks good! That’s an m performance clone? How do you like the gloss black again TB2?
Bonus points for you!

Thank you. Japan Racing JR42’s, 20inch.

The wheels are okay, I’d personally probably prefer the 795M, or probably even 792M as I wanted to keep more of an OEM+ look, but couldn’t afford either at the time and hated the gloss black 791M wheels it came with.

Can't go wrong with silver mesh wheels - classic BMW look!

Yeah, these kinda reminded me of a slightly more modern take on the ones from the E46, so were close enough for now. Hoping to arrange a wheel swap with someone who wants the 791M at some point though.

I have same car/color. Just ordered the M Performance rear spoiler/carbon.

May I ask if you installed yourself? (And removed the stock spoiler) If yes, how difficult was the job?

Thanks!

Yes, I installed and removed the original spoiler myself. Removal is super straightforward with the use of fishing monofilament and a rubber wheel to remove the excess adhesive. Installation you will need to ensure you purchase adhesion promoter and 3M VHP double sided tape - see below:

Adhesion promoter - 3M 4298 Adhesion Promoter, 5... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G2BHLG6...p_mob_ap_share

3M VHB Tape - 3M Scotch 5952 VHB Tape: 1/2 in.... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BT0A6MG...p_mob_ap_share

Any questions just let me know.
