At the moment my 2021 m340 is on

JB4
Catless down pipe
E30

I am running map5 daily, and a custom map 6 from BMS for more boost and more power.

I’ve bought a BMS Intake. Going to install in the next couple days

So by then I’ll be Tune Downpipe intake and E30

What else is there to do? Exhaust? I was never a guy to put exhaust on my cars, was always catless downpipe. And if I wanted more sound just do a muffler delete.

What’s you’re guys input on this ? Is there any one running the same mods but more E85? Maybe a e 50? E60? How much e can we put in these cars using JB4?

I feel meth is too serious also on a piggyback tune

What’s the deal just put more e? E50?/E60? LMK what you guys think

How did you dyno ur car? I thought all our new vehicles couldn’t be dynoed because the speed limiter.

There’s a specific dyno function built into the software of your vehicle. Enter diag mode and shuffle through the options. You’ll find it. Speed limiter also really has nothing to do with a dyno. You hit the limiter, you hit the limiter. 🤷🏼*♂️

Oh wth. I swear I watched a video of a 21 m340i tryna Dino and they kept hitting the speed limiter even in dyno mode. Good to know though.

E30 is pretty much the limit with JB4. Before going femto unlock, I ran a jb4 for over a year, and did a quite a bit of logging and worked with burger and an independent tuner. What I found was, anytime I tried going for ethanol greater than E30, the car would run lean. I eventually grew frustrated with wanting more power, but being limited, so I finally gave up on it, and just went with the unlock, and boy its best thing I ever did.

I think a Supra owner tried doing this, but honestly you’ll be so limited that it wouldn’t be worth going this route. To really get the most out of a bigger turbo, you at minimum need to start by going with a proper flash tune. And then to max out the turbo, you’d need to upgrade your fuel system and go PI. You really can’t do anything until you unlock the dme and go with a flash tuning platform (bm3, mhd or mgflasher).

flash tune pure800
stock fuel system: ~525whp(93) and ~575whp (E30)
upgraded fuel system: 600whp - 750 whp (depending on fuel type)

I’m currently a 2021 + Bm3 + pure 800 turbo + FBO, and planning to upgrade my fuel system later this summer.

Awesome time! Have you tried the map 3? It would even be faster with DP and E30 + JB4.

do you mind sharing independent tuner. I would want to have a custom map for my JB4.
