BMW's Tire & Wheel Protection program
I recently bought a car and enrolled in the Tire & Wheel Protection program. However, I am unclear about the rules. Are the run-flat tires still covered if I install lowering springs or aftermarket rims? I would really appreciate it if someone could help clarify this. Thanks a lot!

The warranty should cover original tires and wheels, or any equivalent replacement.
Any tire damage is covered, but wheels are only replaced if they are damaged so badly that they cannot be balanced, won’t seal on the tire, or they are unsafe. It will only cover cosmetic damage (curb rash, paint scuffs, etc.) if you buy the more expensive warranty. |
