new wheel/tire setup

hello all,

I recently picked up my m340xi and am trying to figure out the next step: wheels. I've noticed everyone wanting to go real wide in the rear which is understandable for RWD but that's not the route I'd like to go.

Just need some assistance on Brands and offsets, for starters I'd like to be at a 19x9.5 squared setup, will settle for 19x9 (considering if I could do a 245/35F 245/40R) but the tricky part is how aggressive of an offset I'm looking at.

I've seen enough Apex, HRE FF10, and BBS to safely say that's not the route I'd like to go.

Anything will help be appreciated!

With a non lowered car, those sizes would be fine. On springs or coils, you either likely have to play with alignment, or just go to 35 profile fronts.

I'll do a 35 profile next time.
Thanks! Wonderful. Which ET and J values do you have?

F:19x9.5 +28 plus 3mm spacer for clearance
R:19x11 +40 plus 10mm spacer for clearance

245/40 and 275/35

Lowered on H&R sport springs

Normal driving there’s no rubbing. I did have it rub with about an extra 700lbs of people in it lol.

The rear does poke a little more than most would like, but it’s not horrible. Supra specs are better IMO

Looks great - do you know if it rubbed up front without the spacer? Also, Adaptive M Suspension?

Non adaptive. Didn't try without a spacer. By the looks of it, it would be VERY close, if not rubbing without one.

I currently have supra wheels on 15mm spacers front with 255/35/19 and 285/35/19 rear. I'm lowered on ST coilovers. There is significant rubbing on the front inside as most of the tread from my tire is gone on the inside.

I want to get some Apex VS-5RS but I'm having trouble figuring out the specs. I want to put a 245/35/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear. For the offset my understanding is that if you do staggered then you should do 38 rear offset. To me as it sits, it looks like the stock supra wheels on 285 sticks out as much as possible. I tried to put a 5mm spacer on the back and the majority of the tire was too far out of the wheel well.

It looks like the rear wheels can stick out a bit, but I guess it would have to downsize the tire. Sorry for the bad pics, only had this setup for a little before I got a nail in the sidewall and my camera lens also cracked. Also, in the garage the car is slanted slightly so it looks maybe a half centimeter lower than it actually is but it's pretty much accurate. The first picture is accurate, just bad quality.

I want the most concavity I can get so preferably a 275/35/19 on a 25 offset but has anyone does this? Does this make sense given what I've said? Below is a pic of the supra fitment:

This is the direction I was planning as well and was conflicted on the rear tore size being 275/285. What it rubbing in the front, the strut, in fender when turning or out fender on bumps. What did you need the spacer in the front to help clear you from or was it to just bribg the wheel out to look more flush.

That aside it looks good in the back, anymore would to much of a poke.

RAYS G025 LTD

19x9 ET27 & 19x10 ET40 w/ 235/40 & 265/35 MPS4s.

Car is lowered with Eibach pro-kit springs.

These are Supra spec fitment, but they work perfectly on G2x. There is the tiniest bit of poke on the rear, but the fitment is exactly what I was looking for!
