Mine is also on the same boat. It suppose to come on 17, have been waiting for 3.5 months on this order. Old one 2024 came in one month, but I cancelled delivery.

I called genius and entered production number. The automatic answer were it is on glovis sunlight and estimated port delivery is 16. I think they collect cars and send in batches, so if car did not make it on this ship it probably did not get to port in time. Longest part is wait from factory to ship to exit port. BMW told me that factory is in the middle of Mexico getting car on car train is the longest wait time.

Thank you. Waiting 38 days. Dealer, Genius agent or automated. All say the same thing. Assigned To Carrier. Already lost a sale on my present Audi S3 buyer that gave me 30 days.

You should trade the S3 toward the BMW. You save a ton in taxes on the new car.

Very true. That is my backup plan I do have that arranged with the dealer as you would guess there is a difference between sell and trade. That being said the biggest problem is getting the car.

When you look at your build sheet from the dealer does it say "customer sold" with your name on it? I'm just curious because customer sold are priority 1 for completion and shipping etc. I once ordered a car through a dealer and they actually ordered it as a dealer order instead of "customer sold". So I can see that causing a delay for your car.

My 340i is on the Glovis Sunlight as well. I seem to have fortunate timing as I only placed my order a little over a month ago. Dealer said once the car arrives in Baltimore it has to travel to New York before coming back down to the Philly suburbs.

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes my name is on and it is priority 1. I have been following cars going to the East coast and many are a couple of weeks after me. Two of the cars have the same options. That would eliminate a shortage. It passed quality so that’s eliminated. Looks like a load of bad lucky.

Been reading how some of your cars made it on the ship and I thought my car didn't make it since my app was stuck at "Ready for Transport" but then all of a sudden the app skipped all the steps and went straight to "In Transit" yesterday and my dealer said it should be here around Christmas time. Looks like I made it on the boat with you guys!

Glovis Sunlight should be docking tomorrow to Baltimore. Do you guys know how long it takes to offload and send cars to the dealers?
