I had another look into why the TLA wasn't working as well. There were a couple of additional changes I didn't make recently as EsysPlus wasn't able to view the VIP module. I thought these were not needed as this module was for future use.
After switching to BimmerUtility, I've been able to make these changes and it's definitely had a positive effect: DSC_VIP - CAFD_00003D78 EM_ElectronicHorizon_MostProbablePathBending - Ausgelesen = kParameterSet01 (was set to disabled) EM_AdasIntegration_AdasExtendedPdu - Ausgelesen = enabled (was disabled) Need to do some more testing but definitely recognising the red lights from further away and also when they switch back to green. |

Your observation and coding of the VIP ECU with these same 2 parameters may be an additional feature I have also seen these same 2 codes in the VIP ECU but have not activated them as IFR did not list them in his sheet unfortunately i cannot test and confirm your observations as TLA does not work here in Australia yet! PS i have just created a cheat sheet to work in BU and Launcher Pro to code aSLA TLA LCA & Assisted Driving View for vehicles built pre July 2019.

Just picked up a post July 2019 model. Has Drive Assist pro, but no lane change, no TLA, or UCC. Anyone have success with the later models?
I cant seem to get a response from other threads about getting ESys or Launcher pro... Also, wouldn't mind peeking at that sheet sheet to see what else I can code ![]() |

Dealer updated my ‘19 to 22/11 yesterday and cracking open BU to redo my coding. Did anyone ever get the cheat for 2019 models?

So I followed the cheat sheet today and coded via BU. Car has CEL light and a warning message stating driver assistance behavior changed affected by country. I’m in USA. What am I doing with? Didn’t do anything but follow the cheat sheet.

Fixed it. Note to self, do not use the cheat sheet. Or at least in my case. Multiple things were not changed in the versions Ecus when I went line by line. All is working now.

BimmerUtility has a problem changing multiple lines of coding and saving it as per the cheet sheet value in one step, especially the land mask values to FF FF FF FF. I have resorted to using an old version of Launcher Pro 3.7 to recode my car quickly after an OTA update. This is quite safe as the Cheat sheet ignores the incorrect mapping labels done in 2018/9.
The BU developers are aware of this problem but are yet to resolve it. To get around the problem I suggest code one or two lines at a time and then check it. This may be a blessing in disguise as then the user gets a greater understanding of what each line of code means & does instead of blindly coding ala Bimmercode and not knowing how to fix an error or reverse it back to the original setting

Hi,
A note of caution for those in US regarding Traffic Light Assistant (TLA). I coded it in my 2020 M340. It worked, but had strange results. Car recognized Traffic Light ls, BUT..... car came to a stop in middle of intersection for a red light and sometimes, car slowed down in intersection with green light. The thing I could figure out is that traffic lights in this area are on far side of intersection, as opposed to near side as I recall in Europe That may just be here or may have been fixed??

Hello , I have a problem here, maybe someone has it also. My car is '21 G20 and had activated aTLA on '23 firmware, but after updating to 07.24 firmware, and applying Bambazonke's xml with esysultra, now my car doesn't warn me about red lights or stop signs anymore . Does someone know what was changed ? Or what I can do to make them work again? Thank you in advance.
