Major remorse after powder coating OEM Wheels
my m440i came with 858m wheels 18" (https://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/bm...58m_wheel_7813)
I wanted a more aggressive look to match the M4 competition. And decided to powder coat the wheels gloss black. The results are disappointing. I think this particular style of wheel and size does not look good glossed out and I am having major buyers remorse. What do you guys suggest I do? Should I powder coat them in a different color? Should I buy after market wheels? |

Looks like a winter wheel set now. The lip and spokes are too thick on this design to be all black.

Not a fan of the all black look. I think they looked better standard.
They do look slightly like you have four spare tyres on. |

The stock color combo looks better than the powder coated black IMO because the contrast makes it pop much more, but with that said, the latter doesn't look so bad to where I'd be rushing to change it. I think you should definitely go aftermarket because of the massive variety of design, finishes and sizes out there.

They do not look bad at all. IMO I think they look better than stock, that weird brushed contrast looks cheesy to me, like they were curbed. Dig the black, pictures are hard to see depth, im sure they look great!
