I think everyone sits at Ready For Transport until it's on the ship. That's been my observation on the forums. If you check frequently after thd ship departs you might see it go to "At the port" briefly before "In Transport" but most of us will likely miss it. BMW isnt very good about updating the app status or the automated phone service. I've been RFT since 11/8 and the automated line says "Awaiting transport to the exit port" but a genius agent told me back on 11/15 that my car had been sent to the port.

Can confirm this was the case for me. The automated phone line does not update from "Awaiting transport to the exit port" until it is on the ship.

It jumps back to "At the port" when it reaches to your VPC then back to "In transit" when it's on the truck/train to your dealer.

Genius told me this morning that my car hadn't even left the plant yet. I don't see how that's possible. It was transferred to a carrier on 11/8. I hope he's wrong.

I think I'm actually on that same ship. My app has skipped from RFT to At The Port in the past 10 minutes. I'll see if it continues to "In transit" which is the next step.

No news on my end either same as you 11-8-24 awaiting carrier assignment. Talked Genius so many times and each has a different answer on why. I went to the M2 site (built in same plant) and they are having the same problems.

Yeah, the genius guy literally told me me thwt my car hadn't even left the plant yet and 10 minutes later the app shows at the port. So clearly the agents at genius are as out of the loop as we are.

Yeah, this morning they told me it is on a truck to the dealer until I challenged them on that. That would be cool, but not realistic.

Now the tracker says "At the port"
