Certainly had more problems with the F30 compared with my previous Mazda6.

My current 3 month old (German built) G20 has been perfect (touch wood!).

Perhaps, there is some truth in not buying any early build of a new series until they have rectified any quality problems. Perhaps, this is the more relevant issue rather than the country of manufacture.

My new 330i is on the boat with a build date of 18/3/2020. They have been building them for more than a year so hopefully any early production issues have been sorted.

The interesting thing is that 18/3/2020 is around when BMW halted production in the factory. *Crosses fingers for a good build*.

When I had a W205 C class a few years ago, it was and still is built in South Africa, AMG is built in Germany. My F30 that I bought in 2013 was also built in South Africa, my new G20 built in Germany.. (Australian Market)
