What is the colour of your G20 that you have or have on order?
Have I missed any colours?

Posted this on my local (Australian) forum. Will be interesting to see if colour preferences are any different in the rest of the world!

I had to drive somewhere today, even during lockdown. Beautiful southern california weather, sunny and after getting some lunch looked at my car in tanzinite blue in the sun... and knew that was the best money I've spent in a while.

Mineral White Metallic - I should have gone Portimao blue if I could go back and do it again. Was worried about it being too flashy, but now I don't care as much about that as no one really cares what color your car is anyways.

What color are you thinking of getting?

Portimao Blue was my second choice , while Mineral White was my third. Ended up going for Tanzanite Blue. Loved PB as it was a new and interesting colour, but i loved TB even more as it was darker and changed to a lighter metallic blue in bright sunlight. Gives the car a different personality depending on the light. MW is a great colour but a little too safe for me.

Portimao Blue. I've mostly had black, grey, and white cars (and one green 94 Acura Legend many moons ago). I've had the car a week and I'm totally in love with the color.

I'm not opposed to going back to one of those safe colors if I think it'll look good on a future car, but this was my first 'ordered/customized' car from BMW and I wanted it more 'mine' than something off the lot. (It's also why I went with Oyster)

As a nurse I have to drive every day too during the lock down . With no traffic it's a quicker drive
Be safe all, we will get through this

AW but I would've ordered Glacier Silver or Oxide grey had they been offered in the US.
Im a grey/silver guy and Dravit was too bronze goldish for me in certain light and Im coming off a Mineral Grey 340i.
There really is no wrong choice on this car.

In Australia, Dravit & Portimao make up nearly half of all new G20s. So far worldwide, admittedly early days, there seems to be an even spread amongst all colours.

you guys have some real taste.

I've seen one dravit car ever (and it was at the dealership as I watched a guy drive off in his newly bought m340i).

In BMW filled LA, there are so many white / mineral gray / black bmws..... a blue one or orange is super rare.

Just took delivery of a Mineral Grey Metallic M340i last Saturday.

My previous vehicle, 2017 340i M-sport, was Estoril Blue.

The Estoril Blue is more striking, but I've been encountering an increasingly greater number of lunatic drivers and wanted a less distinctive color.

I like Mineral Grey Metallic, have had it before and its still a nice color.

Conversely, having a more vivid colour may make lunatic drivers take more notice of you and avoid you!

I’m a white black silver guy for years. Black interiors

I went ‘crazy’ this time around and got tanzanite with a cognac interior. I absolutely love the blue, deep, dark and liquid in shadows, brilliant and shimmery in the sun. The cognac leather is the perfect compliment. Went with black wheels.

F30 Generation was leading with Estoril Blue colour, now G20 Generation is leading with Portimao Blue.

I have Tanzanite II Blue with the Black/Blue Contrast Leather Contrast stitching with bi-colour wheels. Enjoy slick, sport, and settle look. I'm the person that prefers more settle traditional but sportier design. Tanzanite II Blue does change colour in the light as well. Darker blue to brighter blue.
The similar Tanzanite Blue colour at one point in time was only available on M3s.

-Black Exteriors hard to keep clean, scratches and swirl marks more visible.
-White exteriors even more visible to dirt.
-White interiors hard to keep clean especially when wearing blue/black jeans because colour transfer and dirt.
-Portmao Blue new colour from the official BMW G20 launch, this blue is a bit flashy for me.

Here are the classifications in my opinion with interior/exterior combination colours:

Sporty with accented interior (Red Interior)
Black with Red
White with Red
Grey/Silver with Red
Blue with Red (Superman Combo)

More Traditional Sporty luxury (Black Interior)
Black with Black (Ultimate stealth)
Silver with Black
White with black
Grey with Black
Blue with Black

Old school mature Luxury (Brown Interior)
White with Brown
Black with Brown
Grey with Brown
Green with Brown
Blue with Brown

Modern upscale Posh Luxury (White/Beige/Oyster Interior)
Black with White/Beige/Oyster
White with White/Beige/Oyster (Too light in my opinion)
Silver with White/Beige/Oyster
Grey with White/Beige/Oyster
Green with White/Beige/Oyster
Blue with White/Beige/Oyster

I keep flip flopping between Dravit and Tanzanite, with a mix of Oxford Green and every so often the Black Saphire catches my eye. I wish I could see more of them live to decide. I’ll likely have everything blacked out and likely going with Cognac and open pore Oak interior. Keep posting pics of your beautiful M340’s!!!
