Fairly disappointing. Another extremely safe, tame design by BMW.
Basically looks like an F30 with a different lights package. Hardly revolutionary. |

I'm not in love with the headlights, but I suppose anything is better than those fucking halogens that used to be standard. At least LED is standard all around now.
Interior is pretty sweet...seats are very Mercedes C/E-Class looking. I wish there was a pure aluminum trim as opposed to what this current one is. Also, doubt anyone cares besides me, but does the passenger side mirror still not auto-dim? I couldn't catch a clear glimpse in any videos shot so far. |

It had a detuned version of the B46 engine found in the 330i. I just don't understand the condescending attitude and hate for this car and it's owners from some in this forum. This is a perfectly fine everyday car. Remember, not everyone is a speed demon or a self absorbed BMW owners bragging about his expensive loaded to the gills status mobile.

Call me crazy but I like the Sportline design better than the M Sport.
Love the interior, much better than the F30. Overall a decent looking car, hopefully it handles like BMWs used to. |

Will reserve judgment untill I see it in the flesh.
What’s up with that missing ‘pedestrian hood shutline’? Thought that was mandatory?

I have a RUSSIAN build jetta and it is fine thing. My Regrnsbourg bild f48 had couple of small fixes done under worranty. Bmw is assembled mostly by robots and asian/baltic/ukrainian etc workforce in germany. Its build of thing produced by ancle Lu in China. Mine have a couple of parts marked by chinees hyieroglyphs. Its not a "pure Aryan product", an well who cares. Quality control and proper design, what is really important. |

I've finally had a chance to look at all the new photos and videos of the G20 on a large monitor. I'm sure I'll wait to see it in person but so far I am not liking the new re-design. I thought that I might trade in my E90 for the G20 but I like the looks of my E90 better. I just don't like the front end, the grill is weird looking and the grill on the M340 is worse, it just doesn't look like a BMW to me. I guess I'm old school and feel the E46 (which I owned) and the E90 one look at them you say that's a BMW. The G20 front the rear doesn't look like a BMW. I also don't like how the front end is squished so narrow looking. I also hated the pointed nose on the current 3 series which is why I never upgraded from my E90 to the F30.
Am I weird because I think the X2, X3, X4, X5 front end looks more like a classic BMW than the G20 front end? I think it's the grill on the G20 I can't get use to. |

Don't want Mexican made BMWs!!!
Quote:
I VOTE with my hard earned American Dollars! China is BMWs number one purchaser, the United States is number two, unfortunately because we've shipped all of our manufacturing jobs over to China. The Chinese are free to make their own cars, I could care less about them. We meaning Americans manufacture all the worlds BMWs X models in South Carolina U.S.A. I have bailed as well has the head of BMW Motorrad USA on BMW Motorcycles and have gone to Ducati , Made In ITALY. *If BMW doesn't make the upcoming M3 / M4 in Germany or the U.S. I'm totally out and heartbroken!!! |

I think it looks great, but where the hell is the hatchback variant?
I don't want an X3 like all the other soccer moms and new college grads are buying. Funny how BMW claims no wagon sales here in the US, yet I've seen literally 5 of those new Buick wagons in the last 2 days. It's not even an attractive vehicle and somehow they are selling like hotcakes over here by Chicago. Get with the program, BMW. Wagons are not dead. Volvo is about to rub it in as well once the new V60 hits the streets. Since we suck that bad, can we at least get some news on a new GT variant?
