I ordered a 330e xdrive yesterday and the dealer emailed me the order number today and it is already at status 112 scheduled for production. Is there anyway for me to know which factory it will be coming from with the order number?

Thanks GranCoupay, Yes I ordered the Adaptive M Suspension. None of the options have been removed from my original order.

That whole process is going to be quick. Once it reaches the port, it will slow down a bit.

Sadly mine is still at the port. Probably means another week until a different ship picks it up. Unless my tracker hasn’t updated as it should, but I doubt it.

Congrats! Now the real waiting game. My SA could not tell me which carrier is coming on, Based on carrier departures, I'm assuming the Honor or the Tannhauser. We'll see.

I was considering making a change to my order (from run-flat to non-run-flat), but mine is scheduled to go into production any day now, and I didn't want to throw a monkey wrench into the process and cause further delays.

Interesting, how would a last minute change cause delays if the options are available? Mine is due to begin next week.

Changes involve different parts that may not be available. Just because the option is available doesn't mean they have the parts. They could accept the change and then delay the build week. I just don't want to risk it, but hey- pay your money and take your chances!

So here is the final update for my 3 month saga......picked up the car last Tuesday at the Performance Center and did a tour of North and South Carolina beaches, up through the Outer Banks and Virginia and home to Maryland yesterday.

1440 miles in 6 days.....great fun in a great car.....2 miles from home I picked up a screw in a rear tire....guess what.....tire shortage!!!!....may take until December to get a Michelin Pilot Sport 4s....

My SA said they couldn’t push it through and lo and behold production started today. VIN assigned ans all.
