Question about tilt and telescopic steering wheel on G20.

I have a G20 3-series and it has a manual tilt and telescopic steering wheel. Everytime I get off the car I unlock the tilt handle and push the steering wheel to the deepest (and pull back when get in). Will this push and pull make it loosen or broken after long time?

don't think so. eventually after 100 years maybe but you will have other things breaking before the steering wheel gets loose i think.

but i don't know for sure.
