Pirelli Cinturato need replaced
I have m340i xdrive with 2nd set of Pirelli Cinturato run flat...car only has 15,000 miles and already wore through 2 full sets of tires. Dealer said just passed inspection but will need tires...I said I'm literally only getting 7-8,000 miles on my tires and looking for something that will give me a few years of driving...I don't drive crazy, don't do track...just want to go a few years without having to replace tires...is this because Pittsburgh roads suck, run flats suck, or something else?

That rate of tire wear is hard to believe for a street driven car. And your dealer doesn’t think it’s unusual?
The Pirelli P7s on the front of my M340i have about 32k miles on them and they will probably still pass inspection in a month or two. I have two on the back that were replaced under the tire and wheel warranty, so that pair has only about 15k miles on them. One had a sidewall bulge and the other had a nail puncture. |

That’s highly unusual. Something is wrong. How & why were the previous sets replaced? Wear? Steel showing? Where was the wear on the tire?

They are wearing even....no abnormal wear issues...has to i be the roads...my previous motorcycles would only get 3-4,000 mi and be bald...the service tech said these tires seem to wear quick....note-most of the roads here are hills and curves...going to ditch the run flats for regular tires...
