I wasn't impressed with the sound right out of the box. But I downloaded a few sound files and everything improved. It will take some more adjusting but again, it's not that hard. Just takes some patience. I'm pleased.

Where did you download the sound files from? I did have the 8dsp installed in my g20 (2021 model) few months ago. Can't find the sound file even if from the AudioFishcer web site. Just only download some from f30 forum and did some fine tune which is base on my car's speakers distance(between the driver seat)

Here’s the link to my thread. I installed a match up 8DSP on my 2023 BMW 330 I with this hi-fi audio made a massive difference. Didn’t change the speakers and don’t feel like I need to now that the amp is upgraded. I have some install pictures in there and would be happy to share my sound file with you.

I recently installed the UP 8DSP as well; it's a great amp. Coming from a PP86DSP it's a definite step up, and a huge leap up from the stock HiFi.

As far as speakers, I changed those out as well (Audiotec-Fischer Helix i3) and they made a significant difference. I did run the amp with the stock speakers for a few days, and in comparison they sounded boxy and had substantial distortion. Just my 2 cents...

FWIW I also changed out the subs to the Audiotec-Fischer drop-in replacements. Really tightened up the bass.
