Good. I didn't have to say for myself for another strike before being banned (no idea what's wrong with the world today).

Rear is super wide and flat looking. Looks awkward.

It has been mandatory since 1959; modified slightly in 2003, but it's nothing new.

The CA DMV is going to sell a lot of personalized black license plates.

Im gonna repeat myself and add to it. The black grill does not save this tragedy. To add, the wheels design is a cherry on top of all of it. Just horrible!

Agreed, I was holding out hope for the new M3/M4 but when they pulled the trigger on the ugly grill I jumped ship. I got a 2020 RS3. Im gonna wait to see if LCI corrects this buck- toothed beaver.

it definitely looks better all black. The real issue is the non m sport models. the front doesn't match anything else on the car.

The M Performance Parts grill will become available at launch of the G22 in October. It is all gloss black mesh with a carbon fiber surround. No word yet on the cost.
The OEM grill is a way to boost m performance grill sales numbers. That'll be an extra 1k profit for them as dealers order all their cars to help boost sales. 🙂

Or Domagoj Dukec just really sucks at creating pleasing car design....

If they fire him and get straight with emergent technology they may manage to keep enthusiast business- I'm sorry, a MT and RWD are truly fantastic but not when the exterior is sickening...
Sadly the 4 series below M has no 6MT.... my gamble is the G80-82 will be the last Manual 4/3 Series

No but the original post was purely based on design it says.

I think you are spot on there. It is up to US buyers. It is because of US there is a manual option in M2/3/4 after E9X. They /(almost)dont not buy these car with MT in Europe. And my guess is that the Mustang will be the very last of all cars with MT.

I’m pretty sure you’ll see no new BMW with a MT in as few as 6-7 years, especially with their massive commitment to EV over the next 4-5 years. It’s just the evolution of the industry. Probably no new cars with MT in the US at all by then.

I guess the very last BMW with MT will be the next M2. All of them(M2/3/4) after next generation will be hybrid and AT. When we enter 2030, i guess there will be no more MT cars to buy, but as i said, my guess is that the Mustang will be the very last. BMW also have to sell EV cars. As long as the petrol/diesel cars cost less than hybrid/EV, many will not buy them. EV is not green at all....
