Yes on the same ship, Genius told me 07/04 Arrival but the shipping site is showing 07/02. I guess we will see!

So my car has been in the Ready For Transport stage for 11 days now. A ship left Veracruz for the Galveston port and is due to arrive today. Any chance my car could be on that ship? I've seen some posts that show the tracker can skip a bunch of steps then update all of the sudden but they were older posts. I might just be trying to be optimistic because the next ship doesn't come for another 2 weeks and I'm tired of waiting.

It's possible, but I think the best way to know would be to call the BMW Genius line on Monday. They can tell you the latest status, when that status was updated, and the ship info if your car is on a boat. Good luck, friend!

Our cars might be together. I'm in Houston and they flipped at the same time. I'm going to call my SA today.
Do you know the name of the boat that left Veracruz?

It's called Toscana. Every time I call the genius they just tell me what ever the tracker says and same thing with my SA. Let me know if your SA says anything different.

Got a response from my SA earlier today. Says that my car is preparing for transit to the port by getting on a train. Haven't seen anyone in the forum get that specific regarding the time between factory and port. I'll call Genius on Monday morning and see what they say.

Any news? I've been in "Ready For Transport" since June 4th. Hopefully my car will catch a train out of the factory real soon.

I called again today (both SA and Genius). They've both said it is on the way to the port. It's been ready for transport since 6/15. I've been waiting for my car since 2/11. I hope it arrives within the next 30 days, LOL!

I was originally hopeful that the tracker was just behind and that it would skip enough steps to be here by now. I've seen some post that say it skips a bunch of steps all at once and I thought that would happen but I think it's past that point. Usually when it's been assigned to a boat it will be updates on the system by 2 days. The ship takes 2 days to get here from the Veracruz port so it's past that time now. Hopefully it makes the next scheduled boat on July 10th and get to my dealer by July 13th or so.
